    My grandmother smokes and, as such, is perpetually losing her rearview mirror due to the glue decaying in her 92 Taurus. Anyway, the little metal button has a lock on it, so it won't slide right out. a way to get at that is to take a hose clamp and cut out the teeth so you have 2 metal pieces looking kinda like a U. poke that in there, and it'll flatten the lock and make the button slide off. Just for any of you guys that tow with Fords or something.
