This is interesting-There is a guy in this town that opened his own "Rust-busters" facility and I just did a little research of my own on it and it is intriguing of how it works. Interesting. Link:www.rustbusters.com

What are your thoughts on this? Looks like it could be a good idea:Do No:

OK. So they fill in the holes from the front with metal. What about the corrosion that is left on the back of the panel?

I think that some rust should be completely removed and fresh metal installed. And what if the rust holes are bigger than pinholes?

Neat idea, but I don't see how it is a whole lot different than Bondo.??

this puts metal in place of the metal...kind of a zinc-rich metal supposedly to prevent further corrosion. I've seen their site but they really don't show exactly how this "spray welding" technique works. Tell us how if you go watch them do it. Does the gun shoot out "molten strings" (spiderman!) or more "molten particles" and how do you apply it???-Do you have to have a "backing" behind the hole to serve as a sort of mold or pattern.

I think they believe that the chemical galvanizing will eliminate the iron oxides. That would onlybe true if thye heated the panel for a long time.

lots o' heat = lots o' warping Also wondered how they control that with molten metal all over the panel or hole area.

Kind of a fascinating process, but I would not take my car there(yes it does have rust) untill they showed me in person step by step through the process to see how it really worked.
