I finally found a repro of the 4 row power window switch that mounts on the driver's door! It was a Chevy parts place that had set up at a parts swap in Detroit. The repro looks perfect-it costs $49.-item #04684 and is available through Lutty's Chevy Warehouse in Cheswick, PA. Web site is www.luttyschevy.com and the phone # is 724-265-2988. I know there have been requests for this item posted in the past. They also carry two button and single button switches. :TU: David
Do you have a picture of the item? Is it the one with the pointy corners or the rounded ones? Went to their website and apparently you have to order their catalog, no online searching... Also presume you got this from the '67 and up Impala catalog? o No:
Sorry no picture- switch has rounded corners- catalog # is 40-and it covers Chevelle, Monte Carlo & El Camino. The switch is found under the Chevelle '68-'77 parts section. I found them (Lutty's) set up at a big parts swap meet- I just asked the guy at the counter if he had the window switch that was correct for '68 full size Chevys- I haven't tried it yet, but it looks correct and should fit Buicks of the same era.
