Found it!! Steering shaft bulb seal...

    GM part number 7802919, at one time I heard they were not available any more but I just called GM and ordered one after pulling that number off an original 72 BB GS steering shaft seal.....

    There were discussions over this part a while back, just thought I would post it for your interest.

    What was the price for it?? Can you just order it from any GM dealer???

    yeah, nothing special about my dealer (Canada). GMpartsdirect.com also has it listed, like 8.00 or so...

    I think GM actually repunches out stuff once in a while. Sometimes things discontinued suddenly are available again. Weird.
