some of you may remember a post i made in november. my hi beams were working fine, but lows werent. i was told to check my fusible link and they were fine. i was pretty stumped....untill yesterday when i pulled out my headlights. mother lovin rats ate some of my wires. now im confused...kinda. starting on the drivers side...the rats chewed through the side marker lights. i THINK i found the correct wire to hook it back up to (thick grey wire). then there are 2 tan wires that go into the headlight harness and i can see both sets of wires...so that should take care of whatever that powers. then on the passenger side...they only chewed my side marker light (thick black wire) and yes, im sure its the power wire cuz its running right into the light socket. now here is one problem....where does that wire connect up to?? i cant find the other part of the wire that they chewed through. id assume these marker lights come on with the parking lights and not just the low beams correct? im not seeing any wire even comming out of the bundle that comes from the drivers side. now here is my next question....what wires do what on these lights? IIRC the colors im seeing are green, black, tan, and i think...purple. as far as teh headlights themselves...only the tan wires are cut..im interested in knowing what these do. are they power for the low beams? and i guess green is power for high beams?
