hey guys, i was wondering where i should/need to reinforce my frame so that it doesnt flex or anything...my regal will have a mild 350 (~350 hp, and 425 lbft tq), 200r4 build to handle that power and a gm 10 bolt 8.5 w/ 3.42 posi in the future behind all of that...where should i reinforce and what thickness metal should i use. i know for sure that i will be boxing my upper control arms, i just dont know what else i should do. thx :3gears:

    NJBuickRacer I'd rather be racing...

Front frame braces, rear seat braces, and installing the "missing" body bushings helps tighten the car up a lot. I also have 1" wide strips of 1/8" thick steel welded to the bottom of the rails in my GN and a 6 point cage. Boxed upper+lower rear control arms help a LOT. You can get the UMI upper and lowers pretty cheap, around 200 a set if I remember correctly. A big rear swaybar helps as well. My Regal will be getting everything I mentioned above except the cage and rail reinforcement, plus I scored an 8.5 rear in the parts car I bought

For a 350 car, I don't think I would be as concerned about frame flex as some of the race 455's. It all depends on your own personal preference.
