Frank's 70 GS grill vs the "other" one

    GStage1 Always looking for parts!

I have been asking around and so far I have not heard a thing on the GS grill that is supposed to be made overseas. It has been 5 months going on 6 now and still nothing. Seems to me a lot of promises and hot air and nothing.

If Frank McIntyre was doing this grill, we would have a grill now!

Just like his overflow bottles, a project brought to the Buick market
    by a Buick guy!

I would appreciate any feedback on this topic!

    Thanks!

I think he is doing the 69 first. You are right the vapor ware kept Frank out of the 70 market.

    "the other one"

Yes it's true it's been a couple of month since the prototype has been manufactured. May for the prototype, August for the announcement of orders to take and probabily end of December for the first shipment.
Yep, it took me almost a year to get everything started. I don't think that's a too long time as I'm doing this on my spare time. If I recall the first repro grille discussion started in 2001, so 6 months isn't all that much ... Don't you think ?
People didn't think a repro grille could be seen at BG this year, I guess it's the same for seing the first sold ones, doubtness is in the human nature.
I'll keep people informed on the progress, you just have to think that a grille per day can be done and I have to send 100 of them..........

    "buick guy"

I'm anxious too to get my own grille...

another thing concerning the Mr G.Nenadovich statement : "a project brought to the buick market by a buick guy!"
It's not because you live on the wrong side of the ocean that you can't be a Buick guy ! I know people here in different parts of Europe that are Buick crazy... They have to be when you consider that with shipping cost and custom taxes a $100 part costs us $300 !! and some cars here are restored even if they're considered part-car in the states, since they are so scarce...
And most important, everybody over here tries to drive there car and our gas price has always been between 3 and 4 times the price of what's in tha states..... and we are not richer than you guys, believe me! To attend a drag race you have to drive at least 200 miles and the price to race is around $100 ............
So when if Mr G.Nenadovich doesn't consider that been "Buick guys"..... I don't know what to say, except that a lot of us are thankfull to him for the nice technical information that are on his web site.
    Regards
    Olivier
