Fresh Rebuilt '70 455 Iron Heads

    I was saving these for a future build, but need to focus on my current one so these are up for grabs. They are Fresh rebuilt small valve heads off of a running 1970 455 SF code engine. They are both casting number 1231786. This is the first time they've been rebuilt. They were hot-tanked, checked for cracks(magnaflux), checked for straightness, got a 3 angle valve job, and brand new TA Performance Dual valve springs. There was no porting or cutting done on these heads. They havent been bolted on to anything yet, as a matter of fact they havent even been painted yet!! All the work was done by a very reputable shop (Kammer Racing Engines). There is some very minor flash rust (its very very minor) from sitting on the shelf for a few months, and would come off easy with a scotch bright pad (Ill probably knock it off myself, but just wanted to be as accurate as possible).

    I'm asking $400 OBO which is about half of what I've got in them. Id LOVE to not have to ship these, and will be more than happy to bring them to BPG this weekend (I'll be there saturday and sunday) which is what Id really prefer to do.     I forgot to mention a few things.
    1) they also have new valve guides installed
    2) they are date coded "C 11" and "C 16"
    3) I also have the shafts and rockers and they are included

    Any of you guys going to BPG that might be interested, I would also consider a little horse trading for a good Posi unit/3.42's for an 8.5". But of course cash is king (I need new axles for my car trailer)! Please let me know in advance as I'm not going to bring these with me unless I have a perspective buyer!! Thanks!

    I am interested. I'll be at BPG Saturday. I'm going home with some heads, either yours or the '67 big ports the Indiana guy is bringing.

    Rich just PM'd me and said he'd take them, so at the moment they are tenatively sold. If anything changes I'll let ya know!
