hey guys...i need a new driver fender for the gs, the area behind the wheel well is beat. Now here is my question....i have a welder, im not the best with it, so im not gonna do the work myself, would it be more cost effective to buy a used fender in pretty good condition (guestimating around 280 dollars) or to get a fender repair panel and have a shop do it (dont know how much that goes for)?
    thanks in advance.

u know what...i think im just gonna go with the used fender so i dont have to deal with dealing with a shop....
but input would be nice just for future reference. thanks again.

All depends on your welding and fabrication skills. I have done it several times and proper placement of the repair panel is critical. So, if you are a newbie, save the fender and use it later for a repair when you don't need it so you can take your time and do a super job!

sounds like a good plan...i think thats probably what's gonna happen...i'll get a fender repair panel and i'll brush my skills up on the fender im replacing.
