Doo Wop Where were you in '62?

Semi-gloss black should do the trick.

The upper triangle shape AC bracket has more of a gloss to it. Not as much as the air cleaner lid but I would say about 60% gloss. I have alot of original magazines with GS engine photos in them. Even though they are Black and white they are a great resource for originality and gloss. Most people paint their air cleaners semi or flat black but in the photos they always shine like a mirror! I have also pulled stickers of rusty originals and the black is very shiney. The upper alternator bracket in 70 was not black but gray phosphate I think like the hood hindges. This is visible in my mags. 71 Probably the same look however I have no clear photos. Power steering probably semi gloss.
