This doesn't look like a factory install to me. Maybe I'm wrong? Trying to get an idea if this car is a legitimate Stage 1. Didn't think there was sealant of any type around the pins. Thanks Greg ________ Outdoor lesbian
I don't think that is how GM ever installed fender emblems. If it is, it's the first time I've seen it done that way. As far as I know, there should be metal inserts in the stud holes, and no adhesive.
The factory always installed emblems with nuts on them. Its possible that the car had a fender replaced because of a wreck or it was replaced because of rust. You cant go by that. To decide if you have a real Stage 1 look for the build sheet first. The VIN will help some and codes on engines and transmissions help some too.
We pulled up the carpet and no buildsheet, both sides' emblems were on the same way, the engine is not original and the car is a 4-speed so no BB trans. Last chance is to drop the gas tank. - Its a 1971 ________ Free streaming amateur sites
For the build sheet also check under the back seat, inside the driver side kick panel or inside the driver side door.
Thanks, I checked the back seat but will try to get back there to check the other spots and possibly drop the gas tank. ________ Chrysler Ab Platform Specifications
