I got me a good working used TH400. There doesnt appear to be any leakng at seal where converter goes to, and the rear seal where the driveshft goes does appear to have some minor leaking going on. 1. How hard is it to replace the seals? 2. I know its a recommendaton to replace the TC since tranny is already out....but....are these items really high failure items? The tranny only has 78,000miles on it..would I be able to tell the difference if I put a new one in? Thoughts?
