FS: Edelbrock BBB Heads, Offy 2x4 + Street Demon, TA, Etc.

With the exception of the valve covers, the shiny parts on my engine mock-up in the first photo are up for sale.

Edelbrock Performer Cylinder Head Assemblies - Mildly ported, milled 0.015”, 64.8 cc, 7/16” rocker studs, valve spring pressure 125# (on the seat) and 290# (at .525” lift). Flow at 0.500” lift is 302.8 cfm (intake) and 193.2 (exhaust). The valve guide/seat concentricity was checked and corrected as required, valves/seats lapped, and the exterior surfaces of the castings were polished to high luster. Includes TA8503 (ARP) head bolt kit. All new, only installed for mock-up, rocker arm geometry check, etc. $1,900. SOLD


Offenhauser 2x4 Intake Manifold with 625-cfm Street Demon Carbs - I originally purchased the manifold in like-new condition from a forum member, and then had the runners lightly ported and reshaped near the (milled) intake flanges, and the plenum dividers relieved/tapered to optimize flow below the carburetor “goggle valves”. Also includes Street Demon calibration kits, Lokar progressive linkage, TA1710 composite intake gaskets and an OE polished aluminum thermostat housing. The new parts were only removed from their original packages for mock-up purposes. Exterior surfaces of manifold and thermostat housing polished to a high luster. $950.

(1) Comp Cams #19005-16 Ultra Gold SBC 7/16”, 1.6:1 Rocker Arms. New in box except for 4 arms and nuts installed for mock-up, geometry, etc. $275. SOLD

(2) TA Performance Shorty Headers (TA2012CSH) with Jet-Hot Coating, 3” collectors, TA1112SS stainless header bolts and genuine KB81001 header gaskets. Used only for mock-up purposes. $500. SOLD

BACKSTORY - I began collecting these parts for the 455 I’m planning to install in my Skylark convertible “cruiser” way back in 2008. Obviously, I was really smitten with polished aluminum and multiple carbs in those days. Well, after a couple long schedule set-backs, my tastes have changed. That is, I’ve lost my enthusiasm for polishing aluminum and fiddling with multiple carbs. Instead, I’d like to retain the stock-ish look on the new BBB that's similar to what I have now with my 350 engine.

HEADS AND MANIFOLD HISTORY - Both were originally ported and (heads) assembled and flow-tested by PAE (El Paso, TX) in 2008, prior to their fall from grace. Since then I took what I thought was the completed manifold and heads to a highly respected local head builder/porter for disassembly, inspection of the original work (including valve seat/guide concentricity), clean-up of the porting, surfaces milled as required, etc. It’s a good thing I did, too. All original receipts, work-orders, flow sheets, etc. will be included in the sale of these parts.

Please keep in mind, though, my ad states:

By the way, my current selling price for the heads and rockers ($1900 + 275) is very close to 1/2 of what I invested in them so far, NOT including the cost of the decorative polishing. Plus, if they don't sell, I'll prep and paint the heads and use them, and all the other listed parts for my current BBB project. So, further discounts are not very likely.
