Ok.. so the fuel pump seems to be screwed on my apollo, which has a Buick 350 2bbl..

It seems no1 can get the proper pump for me.. the best i could find was the part: Carter m4641

but, then I finally pulled the old pump off and it was completely different

does any one know the carter number or any other brand that makes a mechanical pump for a buick 350?

    Dobie,
I did a search on fuel pump application, and came up with a link to www.rockauto.com They had an online catalog that I used to check on your fuel pump. Very easy to use once you connect to the database. They listed 2 pumps. An Airtex part# 41000, and Carter part # M4642 not 4641. I looked up 74 Buick Apollo, 350-2V (code H), fuel pump. Both pumps were listed with a price of 20-22.00. Check out the website. Or go back to where you got the Carter pump and get the 4642. Hope that helps.
