Right, they seem to be 'head sets' , not complete engine sets.....IF they are steel shim head gaskets, they would be worth $20.... I just ordered a Fel Pro complete set from Autozone...$69.....Pep Boys wanted $105!! NAPA only carried Victor sets... Anyone have a source for steel 425 head gaskets?
Walt what head gaskets came in your Felpro set steel or composite? I use the Felpro perma-torque head gaskets on the Cat. I'm not to worried about the little loss of comp.ratio. The last complete set I got I think was a Victor set and had the steel head gaskets.
John, they should arrive in a day or two. Last Fel-Pro set I bought (1994) had composite head gaskets. I imagine these will be the same. I really like the 'rubber' vc and oil pan gaskets Fel-Pro makes. I've had it with cork.
:rant: I ordered my fel pro set from Egge and paid $110 and the thermostat gasket didn't even fit right!:blast: :spank:
