That is funny. At least he disclosed the "good" things about the condition of the car. I have learned the hard way that when a person tells you that a 35 year or older car is rust free, you need to asked for the restoration pictures that show were the rust was removed, or at least ask them what congressional district they represent.
Gonna copy/paste incase the ad is deleted. Good laugh "I just recently purchased this car and need to sell it . I will not be able to see the restoration through . I can tell you what I know , the motor runs and has a unique feature , it has a built in "driver minder " , to let the owner/driver know its running it makes this ticking , the faster you go the louder it gets . The motor also has what was described to me as a " James Bond " feature with built in smoke screen for drivers who tailgate , just rev the motor and puff there gone! The car has a little rust/rot . Not bad but needs to be addressed . Honestly only on the one drivers rear quarter panel , just along the edge , well actually up to the marker lite . The inner rear quarter panel also has what was described to me as Astro Ventilation , like the corvette's from the 60's/70's , it allows air to travel into the rear/trunk . There is also a little rust on the other side , just a little worse . The bottom of the fenders have rot but since the car is black it's not to bad . The doors are rotted as well but the guy I got it from said that it allows the water from the missing window seals to go through . k , enough with the good now for the bad ;Underside has the bad parts , rot in the rear frame rails but I was told that since the front tires turn and not the rear ones it is not a problem . The underside of the hood /trunk have rot but since I keep them closed you can't see it . I guess what I a saying is that the roof is good , accept around the rear window with the holes but I have those cool bullet hole stickers over them . Please only serious buyers , I was told this gem done worth at least 50k done , maybe more ! "
He really needs to change the asking price to reflect that he smoked the $8k worth of pot that was stashed in the car that made it worth his asking price.
I told him theres 8 problems thats cost $1000 a piece to fix and my offer is $500. Im a serious buyer!:laugh:
