Hope someone can help. The wiring burned up at the starter on the above car. I need the size of the fusable links at the starter. The links that were there are gone. Thanks for any help Louray:
Fusible links are 4 sizes smaller wire than the supply wires. The 2 supply wires are 10 gauge, and 12 ga. The fusible links are 14 ga, and 16 ga.
Not important. They sell fusible links at any auto parts store. I've seen them in the HELP section. Just buy one 14 ga, and one 16 ga., and splice them in.
advance, autozone in milwaukee no longer sell fusable links. If you buy the roll of wire actually. make the fusable links about 4"-5" long. too short and they'll never pop and that is actually bad.
went to several stores (autozone, o reilly, napa) but none of them could help me... so any lead is appreciated

Thanks for the links :TU: I know all about fusible links.... (the hard way  ) Problem is (was) that the employers there only did a search in their computer system on year / make / model and nothing came out. I now have 2 35A fuses, but like to go as original as possible.
