This brings up a good point - Will the Bulldawg block meet the BPG/GSCA requirements of ...."Buick Powered" to race at their events ?? Not that I would, but I posed two cases not too long ago and both were answered "No, Not allowed" 1) 1969 factory equipment L6 powered Special/Skylark. Nope, not allowed=Chevy powered 2) 1995 Buick RoadMaster Wagon, LT1 Factory Powere. Nope, not a Buick motor Perhaps with a few of you guys going to "other" power there could be a place made for you to run (each other) in the agenda ?? ....Ohh, and I gotta say seeing two '69 Buick guys fight is disturbing
you dont think that ebrock got ahold of some ta heads and disected them before the whole project got started, just something to think about. this whole bitchfest thing is entertaining but lets not make it an everyday thing. and yes this is a bbb powered board
The Bulldog block has already been approved to run in the GSCA events, and I'm sure in BPG events. If not allowed, then you should not be able to run Ta heads either. If that's the case, why bother making anything aftermarket in the first place? Jim burek
the Bulldog heads do not have a heat cross over. That is just a void in the casting, nothing there. Jim Burek
Jim, did earlier versions have a true crossover? When the GSCA did a write-up on these heads in a GSxtra, they commented on there being a crossover. That is where I got my info (their pictures and their commentary).
No, never had a heat crossover. The GSCA was mistaken. There are 25 sets of heads that have been cast recently. Jim Burek
I'm from Belgium and I can tell that I'm very happy with TA service!! I always phone them and always get the information I need. As for Email, you can imagine how many of them they get, asking for information you can find on their website. Will buy TA head period!!
