For anyone interested I recommend these tires for show Only! If you want to drive your car and enjoy it buy a good set of radials! These tires are Bias , I have had 2 sets on the same car, great for show (first set were replaced due to extreme wear on RR tire, rotating them only provided a temporary solution) crap to drive, even when new . These have 2-3000 miles on them tops. I'll pull my cocker bill to see when we got them. I would not buy these or even new Bias tires for a driver period. If your still interested PM me. THANK you for your honest description, Dave. I need a nice set of decent rollers, to use on a few mid 60's car I am preparing to sell. THEY DO HOLD AIR right? Anyway, I know others are in line ahead but IF they DO make it to me, I will have to take serious consideration to shipping from Guelph to Tampa Bay. Suggestions from your end? Wheelz, Tampa Bay
Wheelz I would suggest posting , for reference I shipped 2 - 12x15 rims with14x32 slicks to Denver for a little over $100 ---------- Post added at 11:16 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:07 AM ---------- Wheelz I would suggest posting , for reference I shipped 2 - 12x15 rims with14x32 slicks to Denver for a little over $100 As far as holding air: Yes they work fine last trip I used them for was 200 miles last September they work fine but the radials I put on last October to drive to BG are much better!
Ok Dave.. I GUESS? Im up next?... so here's my thinking... IF you sent 2 huge slicks mounted on fairly heavy wheels to Denver for $100.. I would think all 4 tires, SHOULD cost less..? ie: lighter in weight. Smaller in Size.. right? o No: How about looking into shipping these 4 tires to 33776 cheapest way..USPS? UPS? FEDEX? whatever.. . . IF shipping is oudta sight.... RJohns would be up next... :TU: ThanX for giving me the chance on these Dave! Wheelz, Tampa Bay
Well, . . .Im OUT! Appears shipping to Florida is beyond reasonable.. uzzled:.. and WAY out of my budget: I thought shipping via TRUCK $175 was high but...FedEx International Economy 718.14 ! YIKES!!! ThanX for trying Dave!! NEXT:
BUT WAIT! DAVE? ONE> LAST ATTEMPT....like the hundreds of thousands of Northern friends from Canada do each year...Do you visit FLORIDA in the winter for the warm climate?? ?? Bringum with ya??? o No: :Brow: Wheelz, Tampa Bay
