Wow!! This one got ugly in a hurry!!!

Had the makings of a real heavyweight slugfest.....but, Boston stopped scoring.

Both starting pitchers (Brown & Arroyo) were quite off their marks. Then it got ugly!! :Dou: The Yankees were scoring at will. (note to Terry Francona: Might not want to put Will in the lineup tomorrow). :Brow:

A-Rod, Sheffield, Matsui & Williams were just about unstoppable!! :bglasses: :TU: Javier Vazquez actually turned in some pretty decent innings....for a change.

By the time it was all said and done.....the scoreboard read 17-8. 25 total runs....over 30 total hits.....sure would have hated to have been the scoreboard keeper tonight.

Anyone seen a broom?? :Brow: :pp

It would be nice if Boston could at least soften the Yankees up for the NL contender.

I would like to see my Cardinals clobber the evil empire. Hopefully, NY cools off. Where does their offense go from here?

The Sox have completely caved in to the pyschological aspect of the game. Pedro should be ashamed of himself..."they are my Daddy" :blast: That FRAUD should donate half of what he makes to charity because he's letting everyone who pays to see him play know that he can't win.
