Should these be at .045" for my engine? I think so, but what I don't know can fill a book

455 Buick, never decked, bored to 462
Stage 1 SE heads, stock Stage 1 valves
    TA 288-94 cam w/ 1.6:1 roller rockers
10:1 compression, forged stock type pistons
    800 cfm carb
    Edelbrock performer 455 intake
    stock fuel pump
    one oddball oversize lifter
    1 7/8" primary headers

I've always set my AC plugs to .040", but these are a beastie of a different color to be sure

    Uhh Chris :) ,
You leave out the most important piece of information, ignition system?? If it's points, .035, HEI .045, MSD can go higher, but .045 is safe.
