Does anyone have any garage plans for a 26 x 30 garage? I'm not looking for anthing fancy, single wide door in front and a side exit door with as high of a roof as possible so i can fit a lift in the middle. I am going to try and go 26 x 32, but it may not fit where i want it. any suggestions where i can get relatively cheap plans or if anyone has some kicking around :Brow: ????? Thanks Bob
Unless you want to match an elaborate roof line of a house, I imagine you can just sketch something out yourself. Get a copy of the local building code if you need further guidance. Good Luck
go to your local Menards they have a fancy little computer deal. you enter in yor sizes, widow and door locations roof design, and it makes you a drawing and they can give you a complete materials list. I did mine that way 28x40, 6/12 pitch roof with scissor trusses with 9 foot walls I have 12Ft at the peak inside for the lift.
I just completed a 36x76 with 12' walls and built it by myself. I admit it was a little ambitious. Get a building application from your local township, it will spell out what you need to provide. Nothing fancy is required for a garage. I provided a hand made drawing of the exterior, a site plan showing distance from each lot line, and I marked up a generic blueprint that I received at the lumber store. Good luck!
The last one I built was 40' wide and 32' deep. I would be happy to share my construction plans with you. If you have access to CAD we could simply send you a drawing file. Just let me know If I can help. :TU:
We built a 2 stall 24x24 barn in our backyard. We got the plans online thru www.homesteaddesign.com. I believe they were $55. We built "The Prescott". They have a bunch of garage plans too. We just handed them to the contractor and he built it. The plans were very thorough. Our town happliy accepted them and they are real b**l busters. I would certainly use Homestead design again. Jason
