But the redeaming point is if I get stressed out working on any of them I can always relax here! :beer
Well you're off to a great start!! Gees, never seen so many trees in one spot in Kansas..... Just kidding, I grew up in Goddard, KS.
Just wanted to float this one back to the top. If you look at the bottom of page 2 and the top of page 3 of this thread, you'll see posts I made showing pictures of the garage at my mother's house. :eek2: Below is a pic of how it looks today! What a difference! Alan W, those are the same two ten speed bikes that were once on the top of the pile almost touching the rafters! I've been helping clear it out as my resto will be relocating there soon. Still have a ways to go...
Mine isn't technically a garage yet either. I've got to call the builder in about 10 minutes. It's scheduled for completion at the end of August. :beer
I know.....I know....I should be working on that 65, not using it to set up race cars on but, man......we have some fun with this track. It's actually about 5 sets together. With seperate power for each lane so you don't slow down or speed up with two cars going...... :3gears:
New garage (and attached house) under construction. Will be ready in November and I can't wait! I'll have a separate garage for the daily drivers and a separate one for the Buicks and all my Buick stuff. Paul
Construction Permit HASTLES I saw a lot of different style building in this thread. Makes me think building codes greatly vary from town to town or state to state. . Who faced the biggest permit hastle? I had to get a building permit, an enginnering permit, a land disturbance permit and off course an electrical permit. I had to install a $4200 underground "dry well" system just to hold the run off from the two lousy down spouts :af: I live a small mountian range and any time I create an "impervious surface" over 400 square feet, I have to install a dry well to prevent run off ou: Any other nightmares out there?
Green Buicks Hey this is a great thread :TU: Here's a couple of green Buicks, the 72 Skylark Custom is only a loaner (nice to feel the V8 vibe from time to time )
I used Professional Home Design Suite Platinum by Punch Software. It's a royal pain to get the hang of. I never did finish the model of our new house.
Punch Pro I've got Punch Pro, and I do CAD design for a living.....it is difficult to grasp. I have my new garage layed out in it, but have never tried saving a snapshot of it. Looks good though. John
