Hi, I would like to put gauge. I have a buick riviera gs 72 My question is where is te gauge sensor for : 1) water temperature gauge 2) oil PI gauge 3)amps gauge Thanks mathieu
You want to put new gauges in your car? If so, the temp gauge sensor is usually in the front of the intake manifold. The oil pressure sensor is usually near the oil filter on the side of the block. i'm not sure where to hook up an amps gauge, i don't ever remember putting 1 in before. Dan
an amp gauge is a pain in the anus to install . install a voltage gauge instead . u will have to replace the oil sending unit & the temperature sending unit when u purchase the guage set . i have the voltage , oil pressure , and temp gauge from autometer . they work quite well and are installed as a threesome under the dash just above the console .
You do not want an amp gauge. It is in series with the total buss current. Lots of perils associated with something going wrong with its install.
I have a stupid question, for the temperature gauge I have two hole in the intake to put sensor. those one is better ? scuse me for my english i'm french I'm not retard
Vous pouvez employer l'un ou l'autre un. J'ai laiss mon unit d'envoi originale en un trou et ai mis la nouvelle unit d'envoi dans l'autre. Or: you can use either one. I left my original as it was and used the other hole for the new sending unit. Frank
I just finiches to fixe my gauge. what temperature is supose to be for 1) water temperature gauge 2) oil PI gauge 3)amps gauge
how can i know if my water temp gauge work well? my temps gauge stay all the time at 162 f its is normal ? And when i stop the car the temp go up ??
That seems a little cool, but it might be correct. Try putting in a 180 thermostat. It is normal for it to go up when you turn off the car.
Cars, Trucks & SUVs 1972 BUICK RIVIERA 7.5 V8 U 4 bbl If haave the choice of these ngk whit one work the best V-Power UR4 6630 .040 G-Power Platinum UR4GP 2869 .040 Iridium IX UR4IX 7401 .040
mat: don't waste your money ! u do not need those platinum plugs . stay with the ac or champion plugs . change them every 2 years but clean & gap every other year . also , as recommended , install a 180 thermostat . that is the optimum thermostat for your engine for best performance .
