I need to change out the rear end lube on my 3.08 Auburn posi unit. Should I use something like Royal Purple full synthetic or regular lube with the GM additive? I'm looking to avoid any clutch slippage and rear end clatter!<o></o>
Regular lube with the additive. I was told that most of the posi companies say not to use the synthetic oil. Dinosaur oil and additive, just like back in the 60's when these were new.
