Yeah....I have a BTE 10" 3400-3800 rated stall. Its an off the shelf job that goes for about $350. Its pretty decent but slips quite a bit under 2500rpm. After that its pretty decent....flashes nice and hard. I contacted Coan and they recommended a 258mm max performance unit for my current set up. But they could not tell me how it would act with the Gearvendor engaged...(2.76's). So to convert mine to switch pitch with the converter would cost about the same as a high dollar unit....its a tough choice! I just dont want to spend a bunch of cash and have it slip down low!
