This overdrive has seen little mileage as the car has been used for racing and, as such.. sits awaiting repair most of the time LOL... in any case I've had it in my 71 GS and it worked great... Gear Vendors or not the car is not for the highway.....so off it goes to someone who needs it.... sitting at John Csordas' shop..... $1500 plus shipping ..... includes a bunch of new oil....very expensive stuff.... but .... it's a Buick... could get it to Ohio this weekend if someone it interested.....shorty drive shaft included. Hey Chuck...I know you have a sale pending, but, FIRST, do you think that unit bolt up to a Muncie 4 speed??? ..and WHAT controls the overdrive relay/shift? Wheelz, Tampa Bay
It won't bolt up without adapters. This one's set up for a Th400... Check out this link: http://www.gearvendors.com/aghr4sm.html There is a switch for manual and automatic engagement of the overdrive... If set to manual you can just turn it on when you want/need it.... if in automatic mode it will run all the time..
