Wiper motor, and squirters checked out and now working PERFECT!

Time for the GRILLE. This grille didnt survive the last few years being stuffed inside the car unprotected with gobs of boxes piled on top....yea,. It has issues. ALMOST too many issues.

Coulda prolly bought a nicer grille to start with, however, since I have several PARTS GRILLES... I thought it would be a nice challenge to rebuild the original grille.
I was right. It WAS a challenge.

Nevertheless, it came out really nice and was installed after several months of cutting off parts, tweaking, filling, gluing, primer etc... you know what i'm sayin'...

WITH most of the car ready for final trimmings, it was time for a test drive around the block, to check out all the systems. Comfortable with the GO POWER, solid SHIFTs and some brake tweaking was obviously and absolutely necessary... (I'll explain later) it was then time for the exhaust system.

2-1/2 inch, Mandrel bent, professional install... Flowmaster long case and custom made "X" pipe... AWESOME SOUND...
AWESOME job, where the mufflers hang straight, no bolts hangin down, a clean system as the guys at this place have NEVER LET ME DOWN over the past 15 years!!!

Ok... I've prolly bored most of you with all my details, however, I HAVE cut many corners and operations and purposely left out some of the most challenging & grueling details, to finally present to you:

1972 BUICK GRAN SPORT STAGE 1:

The car was shipped to George in San Jose Ca, NOT without some transportation issues, but Thankfully, it arrived there in the same condition it left here.

oh yes, . . .there was some significant 'tweaking' and some issues I had overlooked that I should have checked out..., stuff that I would have thought, was taken care of by the engine/tranny/brakes builder, that werent. I appologized to George for omitting such things, however, the car is gorgeous and I beleive, in the 'overall objective', George is content with how this car turned out after nearly 21 months!

    Enjoy!
