So, I know what color my car is supposed to be. Inside and out. How and where do you get the accurate receipe? I bought buckets, my interior is saddle (gold)...I want to paint the seatbacks and bottoms wraps to match the rest...will any PPG or other auto paint distributor just punch in my paint code and VOILA, le paint receipe is there ....Or have I been spending too much time at home depot! My car is a 1967 Buick Skylark. Ivory with gold interior...

Paint chip charts from the era should have a listing of the interior colors and their codes. What year is your car? I have '65 and '66 info.....
The paint shop should be able to help you IF they know where to find the info. There are a few pros here who can get you the info. :TU:

I have some DuPont interior chips for 70-72, and would be glad to help you get a number if I can.

    Michel has a '67 Skylark.....

I looked up the interior paint codes on the '65 and '66 paint chip charts I have. Both are Dupont numbers.

    '65 Medium Saddle #4626-L
    '66 medium Saddle #9278-LH

I don't know if '67 is the same as '66 :Do No:

Your local auto body supply/paint shop may have some old paint chip charts....interior color info is often found on the back.
Or they can try to mix some paint to match for you... Take in a small piece of your interior for a sample.
