Need to know if there is a windsheild and rear window for a Wildcat somewhere. we need to get the windows resealed, but the body shop doesn't know if they can remove the windows without breaking them. Anyone got some?
Rohners auto parts in Wilmar MN area code 320 has a 70 lesabre same car in glass, in a 4 door in burgundy out in field, all glass was good last saw. They will UPS if requested. info ph has telephone number on request sorry not on hand, with me. craig
70 lesabre and wildcat are the same in a 4 Dr and 69 Lesabre also according to Hollander Book gives you a few more options -- Good luck Ed
Might try to find a more qualified person to remove your existing glass without breaking it. By the way rear 4dr glass is different between 4dr sedan(post) and 4dr hardtops. Henry
I agree with Henry. Removing glass from these cars is not that difficult! Take your choice - use a good utility knife with a new blade and cut from the inside - or - use a piano string with 2 people, one in the car and one outside the car and "see-saw" around the window. Have probably removed a dozen windshields and never broke one yet...just go slow and all is well... Paul
I'm with these guys in that removing with a piece of piano wire or safety wire is not that difficult. Also if you find a good reputable glass shop they can do it for you and should be no problem. This is what I do for a living and it's not that hard. Wish I was closer and I'd stop by and do it for ya. Good luck.
