Engineering Society of Detroit had a meet-n-greet at the Heritage Center in Sterling Heights last night.

Outside - plain industrial building with nothing to make you look twice. I drove right by it and had to get directions to find it.

Inside - Over 200 GM cars from the last century, engines on stands, displays of memorabilia. EVERYTHING that you'd want to see. Dream cars, brand new production cars, lots of "last made" examples, all in brand new condition. And they said that there are another 400 cars at an "undisclosed location".

Not open to the public, so if you EVER get a chance to see it, DO IT.

Here's the first thing you'd see when you walked in the front door - and you might go right past it like I did, distracted by the bright shiny objects beyond - 4 speed, 409, bench seat, poverty caps, red - I bet this thing saw Woodward back in the day!
