    Well,
I have figured out the problem with my GMC "running out of fuel" under heavy loads. Turns out it was that cheap $10 fuel pressure regulator I picked up at the local Schucks. Just some advice, stay away from the Spectre pressure regulators, the ones with the 'dial' for settings. I yanked that off and put a fuel filter in it's place, and it just runs so much better now!

I will be taking it to the dragstrip tonight. Portland International Raceway, in Portland, Oregon, is where I will be from 8pm-1am. It would be nice if anybody local to the area came out for a visit, maybe a little grudge match :) . Don't worry, last time I ran a 19 second time, :ball: . But I have ran a 14.72@99 a few days after I got the car, and before the timing chain, exhaust, and a few other small stuff, at max 10hp. My goal is to at LEAST pull a 14.99. But I wouldn't be surprised if a 14.59 or better came around.

If you do decide to show up, just look for the green '76 GMC Sprint.

    Bob,

Here's a link to a bunch of pictures I've taken. The first 8 or so pics were either taken by the previous owner, or by me right after I got it. The remaining were taken by me last August when I had plans of selling it.

It weighs 4,050lbs with me in it. I would like to get it down to 'around' 3,700-3,800lbs with me in it. As of now, when I step out of it, it's 3,900lbs. The only fiberglass items I've found for it are bumpers, tailgate skin, and a hood. I've found doors, but they require solid-mounted lexan. And I want to keep the power windows. I'm sure I could save some more weight changing the factory power bench seat for some bucket's.

Yeah, the power stuff does add up. The car has power steering, power brakes, power seat, power windows, and power door locks... cruise control too. lol. The engine, as far as I know, is a stock 455 from a '70 Riviera. The only thing that isn't stock on it is a 750cfm Edelbrock carburetor, MSD Blaster 2 coil, and the dual 3" exhaust with V-Force mufflers (Flowmaster knock-off's). It still has the stock intake and exhaust manifolds. Also I got rid of the mechanical clutch fan and put an electric fan on. I would like to upgrade to an SP1 intake, better cam, 125hp shot of nitrous, and headers.

those rear gears are prolly killing you, it probably tops out at 180 though :Brow: some head work would help to
