good buy?

    I love the description "complete". However they should have left a blank on one side of it so you could add your own meaning:

    complete "pile"
    complete "less the ten other cars you will need to complete this one"
    complete "less the tetanus shot"
    complete "less the 100K it will take to build this car"

    I'm just kidding with you. But, if that's the best starting point/price for that car, I personally would find another "dream car".

    Too far gone to do anything short of a complete frame off with, and even then, count on replacing every part on that car. It isn't even good enough to be a parts car.
    I'd say leave it alone, and look for something better.

    Oof. Kind of reminds me of the scene from the movie Christine when Dennis and Arnie first drive by the Plymouth.

    I think that with a little buffing, maybe pound out a rough spot or two, a little chicken wire and you would have a fine rat farm.

    Well, it does have the rare 'rocker-delete' option only available in 1958, though.
