Back in 67 after I wore off my OEM tires on my 67 Skylark, in about 3 months, I replaced them with Goodyear Blue Streaks, they had a thin, maybe 1/2" blue stripe instead of a whitewall and like the later red stripe. They matched my blue convertible beautifully. They did not last long either. Has anyone seen a reproduction of this tire?
I think the Goodyear "Blue streak" is a track tire and the BFG "Blueline" is a street tire. In addition, I dont believe the Goodyears actually have any blue on them. I also have been looking at the BFG with 3/8 blueline. My wildcat is blue as well but I think with the painted trim, I may just go with the redlines. Hope this helps. _William
