I really like those G60-15's with ralley's. They look sooooo correct on the GS's. They ain't cheap though...so what do you guys think of the old bias plys? I just don't want to spend 1500.00 on the set up, and have a car that drives like a pile of crap just to get the look. So, set me straight on this please! :Do No: :)

I just bought 4 of these tires this year for my gsx. They without a question make the car. The look of these original tires are awsome. I have had the car in 5 different car shows this year, what i mean these were a chevy dealership show, make a wish show, buick show etc,People went nuts The tires are fine on just paved roads, but stiff on old roads. Was told billstein shocks releaves this problem by someone who has these tires on his gs. Paid under $800.00
    for 4, not $1500.00

Thanks Owen, I need more real world experience like this posted. BUT, guess what, the people were looking at a bad GSX, not your tires man :Brow:

The rims and tires would be about 1500.00, I already have 16's with 245/50/16 tires, so I would have to buy the whole package.

I drove on the G60-15 polyglas for the 7 years I've owned my car. They were on the car when I purchased it, so I saw no need to change.

Recently, I upgraded to radials. World of difference - less road noise and much better handling (except in the dragstrip - when radials start to spin they keep spinning where polyglas will eventually bite)

I am extremely happy with my BFG 246-60-R15s

If it's mainly a show car, with limited pleasure driving, get the polyglas. If you drive your car a lot (like me), get the radials. I admit you can't get a better looking tire, but do you want to look at your GS or drive it?

If you are used to driving your car with radials you may find the bias-ply tires quite scary-- I did. Huge difference, IMHO. Could you drive a car w/ them first or borrow a set of wheels/tires to test???

Like Marco said, It depends on how much you drive it.

I thought Coker tire made a version of these that look like the old Wide O's but were actually radials. Because that is my intentions when I get a race only car and put my car back to street trim with rallies.
