Saw this really beautiful 76 Electra Limited with 31K miles in a striling color combo on Facebook Marketplace. I thought the engine looked small under the hood so I inquired and the owner claims it does have the 35o in it which makes it far less appealing but also rather interesting https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1983281778458285
OK V-8 Buick people: A lotta car for a little Moolah. Reminds me of the chick wrester Queen Moolah. Actually, Kieth's knowledge for quality is a good recommendation. Mitch
1976 Buick Cascada. What the heck is a Cascada? I love those cars BTW. They are just sooooo sharp lookin'.
I assume you know, but that's the newer Buick convertible. I have driven a couple of the Electra's with the 350 and they are adequate, I wouldn't want to load a family and luggage in one and take off cross country with the 350, but for show, cruising or even a trip for a couple it would be fine. Would be a ton of work keeping the largest hardtop GM ever produced looking that good being black.
Oh, man! I know it’d be slow and hard to keep clean, but what a joy it would be to roll down the windows, pop in an 8 track, and ooze doen the street in it. Patrick
Big, black and slow; - a perfect "Driving miss Daisy" car. It wouldn't break any speed limits, and it probably uses as much gas as the 455 did to get that 2 1/2 ton plush-sofa with coffin-like padding moving. It's in gorgeous shape though, and it should be preserved. It would take the right kind of owner though, and that may be hard to find. Good thing Buick didn't put the 231 in the Electra that year.
