Got my first Buick.

  1. Picked it up a week ago. 1967 Skylark GS400, I guess it's a clone. It has a powerglide column shifter. Kind of a basket case, but it'll be fun.

  4. I'll try to post a few if I manage to steal a digital camera, or at least my brother's scanner.

Welcome to the board. I'm not sure why you'd think it's a clone unless something doesn't seem right. If the VIN is starts with 446, it's an original GS400.

    Have fun.

welcome to v8buick! You joined at just the right time, after the big meltdown!

  7. Where would I find the VIN? I'm used to slightly newer cars with the VIN on the dash at the base of the windshield.

Isn't in on the door jam in that era ride?

  9. Probably should be in the door jam, but there's nothing in the driver's side door jam and a sticker that says "GM quality" in the passenger door jam.
