Grandfather's 1968 Riviera

    My father inherited it in 1972. Sold it to me in '75 and bought a new Pinto.

    Cool! the picture looks like it came out of the show room brochure.Just missing the young doctor looking guy wearing a sweater tied around his neck.
    A Riv with Cruise and manual windows. Awesome!

    Aint a dentist a doctor? I got an original Riviera sales brochure from 68 and it has pics just like that one and the doctor looking guy. The caption reads something like this "You've arrived, This Buick is for you."

    Wow thats quite a transition from Riv to Pinto. :ball:Unfortunately I had to go from a 1977 high boy F-250 4x4 to a Pinto in 1981 because I couldn't afford gas on a teenagers salary:ball: :ball:

    Interesting comment on the dentist. I have a friend who has something like 8 or 9 Buicks and he just happens to be a dentist and he does go with the prefix Dr.
