Gary, at this point I believe we're just waiting for Bobb to update this thread when he can. No prepayment to worry about so far. He's just been gathering data on # of interested persons, and working with the mfgr/dist to get a group price deal. Hopefully we'll hear some news before long. :TU:

Finally Ok guys as of this morning I have the deal done it will be with Bell helmets. They offered the best deal of all the company's I worked with. The people I was working with have been crazy busy so it has been a nightmare getting this thing done. I will give you the basics now since it was brought back to the top but Amy is going to set up a paypal account tonight to use and I'm not sure what kind of % they will want. This is a none profit deal so if they want to much there may have to be surcharge for the use of pay pal not real sure yet if it is a low % then we will through it in on the deal. We have added a few dollars to the cost of the helmets to cover shipping so I can give you a set amount. In the thread I start I will give you sizing instructions and pictures of the two styles that will be offered. We will be offering you the X-15 and the M-2 both are nomex lined and have snell 00 ratings. After talking to Bell and Simpson they said the new 05 rating will not go into affect until august and that is when they will have that rating available. This is the pricing as of now with out any paypal % added X-15 racer net $365.00 our price will be $210.00 that includes shipping M-2 racer net $352.00 our price will be $ 200.00 that includes shipping We will have helmet bags also I just haven't heard back on the pricing as of this post but I was told today. I hope you all like what you see this pricing is pretty darn good Bell really stepped to the plate for us. Some of the others gave decent pricing but no where near this level.
Sounds great Bobb, thanks for the update! BTW, it would be a good idea for Amy to set up the Paypal account as a "Premier" account type, so that buyers can use a credit card thru Paypal. This may add a small additional fee, but I would have no problem paying a bit more to cover any added fees, especially at the prices you got for us.
Thanks Bobb, Those are outstanding prices. I like the X-15. I'm not much for the Paypal thing, so make sure you include a mailing address and I'll get my bank to cut a check.
