There are no missing pieces. There are a few small cracks by each of the three mounting holes and one small one where the "patch" is. I put the patch there many years ago to stop the crack from expanding. It would take a little plastic repair to fix the cracks and a little paint to make it appear as new. Steve
I need to move this along. There are people "in line" that are asking questions about item availability. Sluggo is out on the hood scoops/vents Ken Betts is next in line for these dl7265 is first up for the two broken grilles ynotbuick is first up for KB valve covers (Pics are posted) 70 staged is 2nd in line for the KB valve covers gmcfamily is first in line for the original 70 grille and non polished "J" trim pcs ken betts is 2nd in line for the 70 grille ken betts is first in line for the GS hood StratoBlue72 is first in line for the 4 core radiator This is the way I see the order of parts availability. It's like a job!!:laugh If you are first in line for any item please let me know as soon as you can if you are "in or out" so I can move on to the next in line. THANKS!!! Steve
After further review of the hood grilles I have more pics and more info. The chrome inserts are in very nice condition with all 8 studs intact. One is repainted in the grill area with black paint. The second one is still in the scoop attached with all 4 nuts. The chrome looks very good. The fiberglass inserts have several broke/missing bosses. Luckily those can be repaired. The flat plates are in good shape with no cracks. Steve
Those Valve covers look awesome and I know I'm going to regret this but I'm a longway from needing them so I'll let the next member in line have a shot at them
I need some info from a few people, DL7265 You are up for the broken grilles and others are asking about them. Please let me know... in or out. GMCfamily will pass on the 70 grille. Ken Betts is next in line Please let me know. Thanks, Steve
Tim, The grille is gone. Everything that's gone has "SOLD" in front of it in my original post. Sorry if that caused confusion but it seems the best way to keep track of things. Thanks,
