http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/ctd/1543289870.html Not mine was for sale locally for a long time at15000 looks like he cosigned at a car lot for less or took a beating from a car lot on them buying was on this post http://www.v8buick.com/showthread.php?t=192139
This car belongs to a friend of mine. He has consigned the car to the car lot. It was his pride and joy. I tried to tell him that $15K was too high but some internet listing service convinced him otherwise. After taking it to a couple of local consignment shops, they have brought him closer to reality. It is actually a GS California. It has been modified a couple of different ways, no ram air, non stock color, Power door locks for example. It is a nice car in good condition. I am not really familiar with what this year and model go for but I guess he is closer to what its actual value is now. Rufus
Looks like the price is about half of what it was. If you were in the market for a 68 / 69 GS 350, it would be worth checking out now. The seats and stuff that I remember from the ebay listing aren't that big of a deal to make right.
If you want to make the interior "right" it actually is a big deal, since they don't repo the GS California interior. I think you would have to check and see if SMS could make them and that would be expensive for seats and door panels,if they even could do it. Plus a GS hood (and paint), maybe an air cleaner too? Starts to add up real fast, probably cheaper to start with a nice original Cali which can be bought for around the same money with those things already correct.
