i see alot of 72 votes but isnt there still alot of nos / good used 72 grilles around? not like the 71. or so it seems to me. ditto 1970, there seems to be alot of nos 70 grilles out there. i'll admit, none with a decent price though.

67 & 69 owners are in an unenviable situation once again it seems. why doesnt that surprise me ?

I think that the 67 or 68 needs to be made next.NOS or good used are next to impossible to find. The 70 GS owners have just had a chance to buy a excellent repro grille and if they didn't step up and buy one because they couldn't spray bomb paint the grille themselves then they really didn't need or want one very bad.I would have preferred a complete painted grille with studs as well;or the price to have been more in line with the $350.00 that they were orginally thought they were to be priced at unpainted;but stepped up and bought one like 150 other people.Give the guys that have not had a oppurtunity to buy a grille a chance to buy a grille that they neen and they would not pass up the chance to buy one.I would like to see a 67 GS grille next but either year 67 or 68 should be next in my opinion.

I personally need a 69, but Buickfranc has one already available. So, I say go ahead with 67 or 68, since they aren't available anywhere, and then do 69, 70's because they will be in more demand later after the current repros have run out.

I find it interesting that people still want us to make the 70 GS grille even though it is available repro now. I think what it all comes down to is that most people want a complete grille that is ready to be bolted on. If your gonna drop that kind of money you shouldn't have to do anything to it... Even if it is cheaper than buying NOS or used.

Ditto. If you want a grill for your 70 GS, go to Year One. $649. Does not include chrome molding or mounting studs. Reuse your original mounting studs.

Give us 67 guys a chance, please!

Better go to the consession stand George, this movie just took another "1970 intermission". It is my opinion that until the 70' guys have 4 or 5 different options, us 67' guys won't get 1. There IS an option out there now. If they wanted a grille soooooooo bad as claimed, at least they had/have the option to buy one. Easier to b_ _ _ _ and complain about what they HAVE available I guess.

This company likes to dupilcate parts that have been made already. It would make WAY more sense to build parts that NOONE has attempted. Its alot easier to be the only game in town since we are in a very limited market. I voted for a 67 Grill. I dont even own a 67. And that grill seems to be the most logical one to build.

Pat, the Parts Place does have parts for your and my car. But a re-pro grill and emblems would be nice. Your right we are always left behind.

I have floor pans from them and they are nice!!!

I guess the '68 GS will always be the ugly step child :(

I would love to have the option to buy a new or reproduction '68 GS grill but I am not pushing to hard for it right now since I have a perfect grill in my car. I don't want to even think about having to find a replacement (perfect and not cracked) for the price of the currenty available 1970 GS grills because it won't happen.

If a good repro '68 grill came out I would just buy one to keep in case of an emergency. Just let me know for sure if you are going to make the '68 because I want to put my extra parts grills on ebay :Brow:

absolutely ! one reason i think i've done well with my mopar parts business is the fact that i figured out long ago that i wanted to offer something that no one else had. kinda easy to make the sale when you are the only guy around who stocks something.

very accurate post above. us 70 owners have had grilles available for a long time, yet, for some odd reason many 70 owners still havent purchased a grille. i have seen alot of b!#$&^in and complaining though.

all my GS's are 1970, but i am inclined to vote for the 1967 :Do No:

It must be our lack of 55 Cubic Inches

Its OK though, my '68 is one of the only cars like it in my area and I am usually surrounded by 70-72's (the few that show) at shows... I love 70-72 GS's but give the other years a chance at parts.... :TU:

Hey the GTO or chevelle dont seem to have over 400 ci in 65-69 either but i dont see those A-Bodies being the step childs?hey not even the early 442`s for that matter, but its always the 65-69 Buick GS guys that get the short end of the stick and the 65-67 guys even worse i`d say, they dont even make a lousy patch panel for those years,i agree the 70-72 GS`s are they are beautiful cars but i`d take a 67 over a 70 any day.

    Thanks

George...thats not necessarily accurate...Try finding sheetmetal, interior or parts for a 73-75 Century GS car we are in the same exact boat as you 65-67 owners...Maybe someday we wont be.Thats why I have some 70-72 cars to drive until the 73 parts can be found for my car.

I hear you george Ifeel the same way ! every one is always saying how cool the 67's are and unique they are .Let's show us 67 guy's some support! I'm getting tiered of going hunting for parts and coming up empty almost al the used parts guy know how hard it is to find 67 parts and relly take it to us when we need stuff ! :af: Boy how nice it would be to open up a cateloge and get any part you need like the Chevy boys do

Sorry just had to vent ! :ball:

Ohhhh you dont know how i feel,i wish we could open a parts catalog and be able to buy a set of headlight or tailight bezels,or trunk molding,my cousin has a `66 SS396 Chevelle and they make every single molding for that car i mean every single one, they make hood scoops,Hoods, fenders, quarters and now even doors from what i hear,i wish we were able to do that too man,i always think that some day they will repro some stuff for us `67 guys but thats what i`ve been thinking for the past 11 years but still nothing and losing hope too, they dont even make a stinkin patch panel for gods sake, sometimes i lose faith and get fed up and say screw it i`m restoring the wrong car.

    Thanks
