Just needed some info about the installation of the GSCA 3” stainless dual exhaust system I purchased a couple years ago for my ‘72 GS 455. I’m not even close to installing yet. Has anybody installed one of these? Wanting to know if the original muffler hangers position the exhaust high enough or do you have to modify the hangers?

I installed the GS club 3 inch exhaust on my car back in the early 90s using the factory hangers by the muffler fit fine and the reason the head pipes hang low is because of the Mickey Thompson headers

I also have a set of Super Scavengers that I bought back in the late 80’s for it. Cermachrome last run of them. I was going to buy new factory style hangers that Todd has now on hand. Nothing sounds more badass than those headers on a 455! Thanks for the info sir!…..Lars

Yes, I saw the hangers that Todd has looked to be reproductions of the originals. I concur with the Mickey Thompson headers, especially with the original KB107 window rattler cam that I ran back in the late 80s

I have a TA 288-98H cam, B4B, Quadrajet, ‘87 GN 2004R, WS block/ rods, and hopefully TA SE aluminum heads. Want 500hp with A/C. Fast with Class!
