Did anyone else see an additive (fuel, tranny, etc.) commercial on Spike TV with the footage of a yellow GSX? Does anyone know who the lucky person is that got his/her car in the commercial? :TU:
I think the GSX belongs to a Tom from North Caroliona and the footage is from the episode of American Musclecar filmed at the Nationals a few years back.
I haven't seen the commercial, what color is the X? American Musclecar Gran Sport program was mostly filmed at the Pure Stock Race in Stanton, MI, the only real GSX's filmed were mine on the track and Bob and Sharon Hannen's touring the pits. The other one was a white clone convertible filmed in Atlanta, as far as I know none of the American Muscle car shows had any footage from BG, even the Turbo program which was mostly from FL and a little from Stanton, MI!
I haven't seen the commercial, but Tom Baker's yellow X was filmed at the Nats several years ago for one of the TV shows, not sure which one.
A yellow GSX appears in the commercial as one of three columns of video they use...the video in each has its motion stopped at an appropriate time in the commercial while they are hawking the product. Some scenery in the video reminds me of BG, but I can't say that it was shot there for sure.
