Over on Yenko.net , there is a member selling a steering wheel. His member name is NOVA7579. $ 3250 ,, He says that wheel was also used on the 1970 YENKO DUECE.
Yes, The "GSX" wheels were also the optional steering wheels for the 1970 Yenko Duece. When I started making the wheels I sold a ton of them to non-Buick guys. That is when I found out what else they fit. From what I understand about 1/2 of them got the optional wheel. Duane PS. The thing you have to watch, when you are buying a wheel, is the grain. GM produced some of these wheels in "Corinthian" grain, which is primarily known as a Ford grain. I don't think GM ever used these on their cars, but I have seen quite a few NOS pieces from their parts division. From everything I have seen, GM used "Madrid" grain on the wheels that went on the cars, and that is what I reproduced.
A story I read about the GSX steering wheel being an option on the '70 Yenko Duece Novas was that Don Yenko did not really like the thin steering wheels including the Chevy 3 spoke (like the GS Rallye steering wheel), but liked the 3 spoke stainless steel design over the Olds 4 spoke design. So, he when through the GM parts system and found the GSX wheel which had both thicker rim and 3 spokes.
