My 71 skylark (originally a Minnesota car) has some rust areas in the frame rail under the passenger side where the door meets the front guard. As this looks like a an area that carries a fair bit of load, I need to strengthen it up. Does anyone here on the forum know of anyplace that makes/sells the frame rail gussets that can be welded in to fix this problem? Also can somebody let me know the guage or thickness that the Frame rails were, when they came out of the factory, as some areas feel a bit on the thin side Thanks Bruce (Australia)
