had a REALLLLY bad day with new engine

    i had a 350 cheby do that once and it turned out to be
    a loose engine mount. it would make make sharp rattle
    at a certian rpm.

    I bought a fresh engine before, the guy thought it was junk because it had a knock. It turns out the oil pan was dented in slightly and the crankshaft was hitting it. It was a 455.
