We've all had our problems, that's the way life is My heart goes out to others, who are there to make amends Happy Birthday Stevie, wherever you are!
Tick Tock, Tick Tock, Tick Tock people. Times slippin away, remember now, Tick Tock, Tick Tock, Tick Tock people. Time's slippin away. Happy Birthday & RIP SRV all the love for you my Brother :beer D.
I agree. Stevie played with his heart and soul, and his music certainly reflected that. He will always be sorely missed.
I cant agree more with everybody else. My heart goes out to his family, friends and band members Chris, Tommy & Reese. But most of all to his brother Jimmie who is still playing that magic music. We all miss you Stevie.
Srv I still always reach for an SRV cd for a long trip in the car. Too often the best leave us too early. J.
Had a chance to see him at what was the time the Agora Ballroom in Hartford, Ct. Typical beer spilled sticky floor rough around the edges kinda place. What a show he put on! My wife and I stood just in front of the mixing board and the sound was awesome! Rock on, Stevie! :TU:
I hugely admire the man, the way he turned his life around... He is still an insperation to me... See you on the other side my friend. :bglasses:
Geez Yards, I had no idea you had gone through the death of a girlfriend like that, really sorry to hear it. That must have been terribly traumatizing.
I saw his second to last show up at Alpine Valley. When I hear his songs I have a hard time believing he is gone. He seemed to really be enjoying life and really having a good time.
He died the day that my unit got put on alert for the Gulf war. Sorry you died that day Stevie, you were the best! But I have to remember it as the day that the dumb punk kid in me died.
