I got everything apart and I packed it in before the storm. I'm gonna finish the job today. However, I didn't read or see nothing about shims. Whats up with that? Looks to be a case of simple adjustment.
Do the older generation magnas have the shim under bucket (I think that's what they called it) type valve setup like the 93 and up bikes? I've read a lot about people having to get different sized shims to get everything right on the valve adjustment for those bikes. Maybe the older bikes used a different setup.
