hard lines or braided?

Has anyone ever used braided hose from the tranny to the tranny cooler? My hard lines are getting pretty beat-up and need to be replaced. I was thinking that running braided hose would be an acceptable alternative.

    In case it matters, it's a TH400 and a B&M cooler.

    Thanks all!

    Nope

    No.
Hard lines are less likley to cause a major problem.
It can be done if routed properly.

I'm using -06 braided lines now with quick connects for the external cooler. Planning to go up to -07 to improve flow. Works well!

Thanks for the input guys. I'm going to give the braided lines a shot. Worse case, I'm out a hundred bucks, maybe some skin off my fingertips... and have to re-install new hard lines.

I use both. Hard lines from tranny to the front of engine then braided from the hard lines to rad.

    You can find them here.

Say... that line-set looks really nice! You put that on your Skylark? Did you have to do much bending, or did the hard-line fit in nicely right from the box?

For $130 bucks, it's definitely worth a try. Thanks!
